What’s louder than carols in December? The sound of our team debating Secret Santa picks
This is a time of endings and new beginnings; there is chaos everywhere with planning, pitching, meetings, and celebrations. December in our office isn’t just about deadlines; it’s about delight. Our people are bouncing between pitch decks and party decks. The energy is contagious; one corner is buzzing with guesses about who’s whose Santa, and another is pre-planning strategies, ideas and to-dos for the new year.
People come from different places and backgrounds, who didn’t know each other, but now they are working together, getting to know each other without any pre-conceived notions, and thus their friendships are lit.
We belong to a team who’re not colleagues, instead behave like a family sharing bittersweet bonds, creative splashes at times, but they eat together, laugh together, party together and share responsibilities together, and we call it a Dream Team, which is not a dream for us.
The corporate culture that gives the vibe of a new school session, where we meet new people, perceptions, different ways to work, learn, interact, and a lot.
“Corporate culture” often gets painted as toxic or tiring, but we see it differently. Culture isn’t about policies, but it is about people. This cannot be planned; only people who work can create it.
And, we create so many new things this Christmas, such as -
This December, our office turned into a celebration ground of ideas, laughter, and a little mischief.
Secret Santa Shenanigans-
The funniest part? We are not supposed to reveal our Santa… yet somehow, some of the secrets slip out. Luckily, the mystery still survives.
Creative Sparks Everywhere-
Our Creative Minds open up with a full of ideas, all united by one mission: to make this last month unforgettable. From quirky decor hacks to innovative campaign ideas.
The Gift Excitement
After a day packed with meetings and deadlines, the evening shifts gears - buzzing with what they can gift to their “chit wala person” as their Santa.
The Great Guessing Game -
Some buddies are trying to spill their partner’s gift wishes, while others play detective, determined to uncover their mysterious Santa. It is clutter, but the kind that makes culture feel alive.
Now, we celebrate a festival twice, first at the workplace and then at home. With the same enthusiasm for dress, ritual and preparation. And this is how our corporate culture creates its own version of celebration.
The workplace isn’t a one-time stop; it is where we show up every day, spend most of our hours and build so much of our lives. That’s why with the task, desks, and project, it should be a space that feels cheerful, motivating and alive with energy.
In a creative field, freedom does better work than pressure. It’s the stories around us, the reactions we observe, and the people we connect with - that also shape our work, and we understand that.
From birthdays to Secret Santa, even tiny rituals break the monotony; cheerful cultures celebrate our people, and these little things make each one feel important.
In toxic environments, people compete; In cheerful ones, someone jumps to make you understand, share notes, and listen to problems. That small act changes the vibe.
Corporate culture isn’t built in boardrooms; it’s built in chai breaks, evening gatherings around the desk, and the laughter that bursts during serious moments.
That’s how we can turn the ‘toxic’ tag into cheerful. For now, our Secret Santa is still lined up.
Stay tuned for our more corporate stories, like Saturday cricket and birthday bash.
